Tish Shade, IOM
Tish is currently the President/CEO of the Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce. She comes to us from a year in Texas and before that, 30 years in Colorado. She has worked in the Chamber industry for over 12 years and in Business Development for over 25. She and her husband Mark moved to Kentucky in March of 2021.
Tish grew up in Kansas in a small farming community, much like Kentucky only no humidity!
After high school she moved to Colorado where she studied Early Childhood Education at Arapahoe Community College and then Business Management at Colorado State University. She also has her Six Sigma Project Management Certification from Villanova University.
Tish is a member of the Rotary Club of Frankfort, The Frankfort Elks Lodge, the Frankfort Kiwanis and the Optimist Club. She is an Ex Officio board member for Downtown Frankfort Inc., Just Say Yes, Leadership Central Kentucky, a member of Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives and the Frankfort Bourbon Society.
Tish loves to go boating and be on the water, travel to new places, loves trying new foods and most of all loves spending time with her family and friends.
